If you've been with me a while, you know Undertale is a very important game to me. The success of the covers we posted on GameChops a few years back propelled us to become the most popular game music label with over 100 million views. This remix is two things that are really close to my heart, a new love (K/DA) and a forever love (Undertale) ***ok this got sappy i'll settle down 😅

If I could I get technical for a moment…

"Pop/Stars vs Megalovania" is the culmination of a lot of production methods I've been working on this year. I used my a (CPU destroying) Ableton Live project I developed for my album "2.B.A Mixtape." It's like my live DJ setup, but instead of DJ effects like reverb and flangers, each track has a whole mastering chain. It's super powerful!

Music theory wise, I was able to flex a bit too! I've been ear training lately and I had to shuffle around some of the notes in Megalovania to get it fit better with both the instrumental and the vocal. I'm really happy with the result.

The video was a product of all the After Effects grinding for those Deltarune remixes here and on GameChops. Even though i told myself "I AM NOT GONNA PUT UNDERTALE CHARACTERS IN THE POP/STARS VIDEO" but while drinking my coffee one morning I dropped Sans.GIF in that first shot of the subway car... and the rest is history.

It's been a really amazing year for me, despite being the first year I didn't go on tour. Huge thank you to everyone who's been watching my vids, commenting, and playing my music. I only had about 2.5k on this channel at the start of 2018, it's so amazing how much we've grown! Thank you all for the support. 🔥🚀✨
